My name is Sarah and I’m a freelance makeup artist, hairdresser and barber based in Bristol, UK.

I graduated from Bath Academy of Media Makeup where I professionally trained in makeup for TV and film, under the creative direction of Oscar-winning Makeup Designer Peter Swords King.

​

Since completing my training, I have experienced many different aspects of the industry including TV, film, theatre, fashion, editorial and bridal. I have worked in the hair and makeup department of TV dramas, feature films, a children's television series, a popular TV gameshow and an international TV news channel - please click on resumé on my home page.

In 2019, I qualified in Women's Hairdressing (VRQ 2) and attended the London School of Barbering, graduating with distinction.

In 2020, I was accepted onto the industry-recognised ScreenSkills scheme for high-end TV production.

​

In 2023, I completed my advanced qualification (NVQ 3) in Women’s Hairdressing whilst gaining experience working in a hair salon.

​

I now continue to work on TV and film productions as well as photoshoots, assisting at weddings, with private hair and makeup clients and in a hair salon.

​

With a background in art and design, I enjoy expressing my creativity through my work. I have a good knowledge of skincare having previously trained and worked in beauty and holistic therapies for many years.

​

I have always been amazed at the power of hair and makeup to totally transform a look, create a character or simply enhance natural features. Giving someone a boost of confidence in how they look and feel is very rewarding.​
